Dorchester Primary school 08/09/2016

Monday and Tuesday took me to South west London and Dorchester Primary school. This is a large three form entry school and so we enjoyed dancing in numbers of 90 or so. This made for very exciting classes and the children responded very well with both enthusiasm and hard work. I would like to thank both staff and children for a lovely visit and I look forward to returning sometime soon.

Thanks chaps for helping with my dance workshop. Great for the children to see that Chelsea train such good dancers.

I have visited a lot of staff rooms in my time, but never one with a view like this.

Thursday took me to lovely (but damp) Dorset and Lychette minster school. This would be my 5th annual visit and one that I look forward to very much.

“Pete’s workshops are always fast paced and the students thoroughly enjoy themselves. There is a good balance of learning rep and creative exploration. The students always talk aboutt heir experience throughout the year” Claire aimes Dance teacher Lychette minster school

Denbigh Primary school luton

5 A.M. start on my journey to Luton and Denbigh Primary school. I taught two groups of 60 children over the course of the day and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Some words from the staff.

“It really helped the children to really understand the importance of turn taking and listening. Children developed rhythm and co-ordination”. Mrs Diggines

“Excellent for all ages and all levels of learning. Including quite severe S.E.N. children. Great to see the kids who do not normally shine academically, really come out of themselves.
Really enjoyable for all”. Harriet Finley-Nathan
